                                        AFGHANISTAN PURE ORGANIC RED SAFFRON

We are a company of producers and importers of pure biological afghan saffron with bulbs of  region of Hindu Kush Kashmir ( Wakhan Valley , 700 meters above sea level ) among the most valuable in the world . Hindukush - Kashmiri saffron is recognizable by its deep red color . This saffron is the darkest of the world , a sign of purity and strong aroma . The petals have a color ranging from lilac to purple and inside the corolla , there are three red stigmas : it is from these that the saffron is obtained . Saffron Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan - Kashmiri is a rare and expensive spice , the yield for hectare is only 1.5  kilogram and takes it between 200,000 and 250,000 flowers to produce 1 kilogram  of saffron.

The stigmas of Saffron after being separated from the flower are dried on a cheesecloth cherry wood placed over a wood fire .

The organoleptic components of saffron Afghan Hindu Kush - Kashmiri are: crocin is responsible for their dark red color (the most valuable ) . The picrocrocin , a bitter glycoside that gives flavor ( in quality with intense dark red stigmas ) . The safranal that responsible for the aroma .
